Bug Fix

  • Placing multiple of the same item from inventory should no longer reset the rotation of the object every time

  • When deep frying, mobile users can now swipe really slowly and it will still count

Bug Fix

  • Food menu search bar should work in other languages
  • Fixed hive lamp visible through ceiling
  • Fixed bug where the permissions popup didn't work completely on mobile unless tapping the right hand side of it
  • Dark wood café updated
  • Improved the furniture dragger on mobile, so that if you move your character while dragging a furniture item, it should not glitch around.
  • Panels should now align perfectly with the top and bottom of walls when placed (doors should still work normally)
  • Gothic windows now have a single glass panel so it doesn't look like there's a horizontal gap in the glass.
  • If the plot owner sets the restaurant to "empty", any "pending orders" from their restaurant don't count towards your total
  • When you move a sign, it no longer "visually resets" the font while you are placing it
  • Panels and fences should now be automatically duplicated when building second floor.

  • Fixed bug where switching from an existing save to a new restaurant, and then back, could cause the likes (or other aspects) of the original restaurant, to be lost.

Major Bug

  • Fix bug where ceiling furniture could not be placed before unlocking second floor

Minor Bug / Patch

  • Soap model is now correct orientation
  • Fixed Hanging Roof Sign and Disco Ball (so you can see all their parts)
  • You can now block restaurants and they will turn invisible, even if you are co-owner / employee
  • Fixed elevator prompts not appearing if you have a really tall character
  • Cozy restaurant updated so all the windows are the same color
  • Fixed bug where player could order more than 3 dishes without the 'You already have too many pending orders!' notification
  • Precision build can no longer be used on panels that windows/doors can be placed on - can still be used on other panels and fences
  • Added additional console logs for the situation where sell mode / store mode / selection mode doesn't work on mobile.
  • Fix elevator bug where if the player had 2 elevator shafts (one connecting the first and second floor and one connecting the second and third), it could take you to the wrong target elevator.

Bug / Patch

  • Data about what foods you have ordered from other restaurants now persists across sessions - you can order 1 dish from each course from each restaurant every hour.
  • Players should never receive the "You reached X stars" notification repeatedly anymore, even if they go under the rating, and then back over
  • Fixed bug where worker legs in outfits menu (worker customisation) would appear white, due to a white gradient element.
  • Fixed Z fighting on "rounded normal sign"
  • Fix bug where, after firing waiter, it could cause floating plates if they were serving food
  • Fixed Soft lock when you try unlock second floor two times in a row in times of lag

Bug

  • Hotkeys such as build mode (1) no longer work if the player is serving dishes
  • Fix bug where entering first person, then /freecam, then pressing O, then pressing the exit button, would lock the players mouse (#3027)
  • Fix bug where the "particles" setting could affect customer spawn/walk blocks, and make them visible when they shouldn't be

Minor Bug / Patch

  • Turned off collisions for many small lights, signs, blocks, fun items, to improve performance
  • Fixed bug where player could access the area below the map
  • Fixed bug where Japanese roof light could glitch through ceiling
  • Fix bug where cozy restaurant had too many default kitchen items
  • Fixed bug where lamp post double still turned on when lights option is off.
  • Stairs placed on the edge of the plot should now function correctly (even if the NPC needs to go slightly outside the plot)
  • Q button no longer switches between all the floor controls in build mode
  • Increased thickness of round placemat and rectangle placemat to avoid rendering issues.
  • When teleporting to plot, the position of the player is now randomised by 5-10 studs, reducing the chance of players having weird collision bugs.

  • NPC pathing improvements - NPCs less likely to go through walls, and will prefer to search for doors

  • Players can no longer build furniture above 3rd floor

  • Ordering food from slightly outside plot should now fill friendship meter
  • Front desk should no longer have z fighting
  • Wall panels, stairs and elevator can no longer be placed at "grass level"
  • If you build floors in a complex shape (e.g. L shape), pressing rotate should now rotate the texture
  • Added some more randomness to the way waiters assign customers to tables. This should avoid the problem where all front tables get filled, and back ones don't
  • Fixed bug where inspect dish screen would cut off on tiny phones
  • Workers are now positioned 0.08 studs higher to avoid their feet going through the floor
  • Glass staircase no longer clips through floor
  • Using pick mode on floors with "pattern" or "wallpaper" textures should now correctly render the textures when previewing the floor

  • It should wait until the plot has loaded before spawning workers, and it should not spawn them inside furniture.

Update Thursday (v0.3.30)

Feature

  • New Furniture - Added regular ceiling lights
  • Players may now place small items on the inside surface of bay windows
  • Furniture placed outside now places on the grass instead of leaving a small gap for the floor
  • You can now "rotate" floor items, which will rotate the texture, and it will save correctly

Minor Bug / Patch

  • Players no longer get 10 diamonds after resetting data
  • Cash/Diamonds should only be visible on other plots if you have Manager or Co-owner
  • When buying expansions or floor upgrades in others tycoons, it should now correctly render the objects and show wall / floor colors correctly)
  • Returning to the main menu should now always reset the manager permissions page
  • Fix inconsistent close button styling, and incorrect border colors on buttons
  • The main grass color on the map is now one of the default color options in build mode
  • Fixed Restaurants/plots not visible by employees or managers when they are in the loading screen

  • When you unlock a food, it now shows the rarity and the course
  • Fixed slight rotation on bathroom signs and room signs

  • Fixed bug where you could not start a wall placement inside another wall because it would register collisions
  • Spaghetti and meatballs no longer cuts off after "Spaghetti and"

Update Monday (v0.3.25)

Feature

Major Bug

  • Fixed bug where you could be in build mode outside of build mode by pressing E while editing painting.

Minor Bug / Patch

  • Reduced fog/haze density
  • Fixed expansion floors visual bug
  • Fixed overlap between milestones UI and teleport UI.
  • Blank sign and wide blank sign no longer have collisions, they no longer "float" so far off the wall. (NOTE: Any blank signs previously placed with precision mode may have moved if you load in after this update)
  • Completed orders now get added to closest order counter
  • Overhead beams and cylinder overhead beams no longer float when placed on the floor, hitbox has been fixed.
  • Marble railings now connect perfectly
  • Max cooking queue size is now 10.
  • If you cook 2 items in a row, the regular UI should no longer appear in-between for 1 frame.
  • If you have the build collisions gamepass and try to overlap too many walls, it should now say "Collision found! (5/5)"
  • "Front desk" item should now be fully symmetrical

Update Friday (v0.3.22)

Feature

Major Bug

  • Fixed "customers sitting on tables through walls" - at least in the most basic setup.
  • Fixed floating body parts / lower torso

Minor Bug / Patch If you have set the workers UI to "chefs" only or "servers" only, then when you press edit, it should only cycle through that type of worker.

  • Brown wall pattern now connects perfectly when placed side-by-side
  • If you have an item selected in build mode, E button now deselects it
  • Slightly toned down the redness during evening time
  • Fixed gap in starter restaurant - bistro
  • Regular ceiling fan now spins
  • 2 players building the same furniture item at the same time should no longer conflict with each other
  • If you are moving an item in precision mode and the plot owner deletes the item, it should no longer cause a softlock (may still cause minor visual bugs but should be possible to exit precision mode)

  • Fixed bug where management would be stuck at level 9, 99% (note: players with this bug may need to start a new restaurant and buy some upgrades there)
